Portrait Group

The Portrait Group meets in the Big Room at Westgate Studios on the first Saturday of every month.  It is organised by Dave and Tony, it starts at 10:00 till 3:00, the cost is £15.00.  You will need to contact Dave or Tony to book a place, it is limited to 12 artists and is realy popular so book early.

Top Draw Life Drawing, presently at Barnsley Art College on Monday’s from 10:00 till 2:00.

Comunarty

ComunARTy is a registered charity in Wakefield Prison.  Artists have an exhibition at Westgate Studios every year on the Artwalk in July.  It’s called From Over The Wall and has a different theme, we’ll see you then. 

Craftavist Group

The Craftavist Group will be starting in the next few weeks, all the framework is done, it will be on Monday mornings and Tuesday evenings.  Keep an eye on the blog and social media for a start date. 

Artwalk

Westgate Studios is open for the Artwalk.  We have open studios, exhibitions in the project space, the Big Room and the Prince Albert is open.  

The Artwalk is on the last Wednesday of every other month starting in January, we open at 5:00 till 9:00.

Jackanory

Jackanory is a group who read and perform short stories and poetary and is based in the Big Room at Westgate Studios.  It’s organised by Halima and had its 5th year anniversary in 2019.  I'll add the dates as i get them.

Spectrum, Survivor Support Group

Spectrum People are starting a Survivors Support Group, it will be at Westgate Studios.  The time and day is to be organised, I will add it to the page as soon as i know.
